AID for Tribal Research Institutes

Under the scheme of Grants-in-aid to Tribal Research Institutes (TRIs), funding support is given to State governments, on 50:50 basis, for various activities including conducting research studies on tribal issues, seminars, workshops and training programmes, promotion and construction of tribal museum etc. The State-wise release of funds under grant-in-aid to Tribal Research Institutes during the 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 and current year is given below:
